Sugar Creek Soaps and Candles welcomes you to our website and we'd love to welcome you to our town.  My name is Sandra Belue and I own Sugar Creek Soaps and Candles.  I've lived in Alabama all my life and the Rogersville Area for the last 33 years.  The Candle and Soap business dropped into my lap and though I've been encouraged to move to a bigger town, my heart belongs in Rogersville.  I think everybody needs to visit at least once.

If you're in the area, please visit us.  Some of the most beautiful scenery in the world is right here in North Alabama.  Fishing, Golfing, Shopping, Boating, and Relaxing are just a few things we have an abundance of here in Rogersville.  With Joe Wheeler Resort and Lodge within 5 minutes of downtown Rogersville, you'll have no trouble finding a place to relax and recharge.

Great News!!!  Beginning Jan 1, 2009 we'll have a new Bed and Breakfast Opening in Rogersville.  Called Longing for Home, it's just a 1/4 mile up the street from Sugar Creek Soaps and Candles.  On West Lee Street.  Look them up on their website  www.longingforhome.net

 We want to show you that Southern Hospitality the South is so famous for,  so we're trying our hardest to meet YOUR needs.

Our new coffee/sandwich shop is next door to Sugar Creek Soaps and Candles.  Cafe Savanna is a wonderful shop with homemade soups, sandwiches, and desserts specially made every morning.  Barbara, the owner comes in each morning and bakes sour dough, and wheat bread, banana breads....you name it.  And the coffees are wonderful.  Hot coffees in numerous flavors, and cold iced coffees and smoothies.  Barbara even has a limited supply of teas to serve with your breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon snack.  Open 7am-3pm, Cafe Savanna is a Fantastic Addition to our town.
